Learn to capture the outdoors in postcard size watercolors. En Plein Air is a French expression for "in open air". Not only is working with watercolors less cumbersome than oils, it is a great way to capture memories from a vacation or document details for a larger studio painting.  You will be taught to travel light, with a folding stool, a small watercolor palette, a few brushes, paper towels and a block of postcard size watercolor paper.  The instructor will demonstrate and lecture the first two hours and the remainder of the class will be spent painting your own memories. A critique will end the session. May 19th, 9am to 5:30p. Register by May 12th.  Supply list given at registration.
