Acrylic Artist

    Born in Ashland, OH. My love for painting began at a very young age. My mother was an artist and my inspiration. I would watch her paint for hours. Amazed at the final result. Completely self-taught, I would draw or paint every chance I had. As a teen I began selling my paintings in my mother’s store and around town on consignment. 
    Marriage, raising four daughters, and running a business made it hard to focus on anything else. After a life changing moment, I began to paint again. And have realized I never lost the passion. I work mainly with acrylic. Although I have recently began using pastels. I enjoy abstract as well as more detailed paintings. I feel that I can express myself the most with abstract art. Although, I would love to learn photography!  In 2008, I was represented by Art 101 Gallery, and am excited to be apart of the Creative Chateau Gallery.
