Lakeside Chautauqua is a historical community founded in August 1873 by a group of Methodist preachers on Lake Erie. Lakeside's mission is to enrich the quality of life for all people, foster traditional Christian values, and nurture relationships through opportunities for renewal and growth while preserving Lakeside's heritage. The community offers cultural, intellectual, spiritual, and physical learning opportunities throughout the year.
Lakeside hosts a Plein-air art show in July as part of its cultural opportunities. Artists from the local area and out of state participate for 3 days of capturing the beauty of Lakeside. On Sunday, the show's final day, Artists sell their original paintings to patrons, and it becomes a beautiful memory for all!
The following Lakeside Ohio Paintings have been created over the last 5 years, some during the Plein Air event, others in the comfort of my studio. Prints are available even if the original painting has been sold.
